The lovely Princess Odessa is dying of a seemingly incurable disease. Her father, chieftain of Olympia, offers her hand in marriage to any Dynamoan who can find a cure for her illness. Speed, intelligence and toughness are of the essence in finding the cure. The hero who rises to the challenge is Dynamo Dave, native of Veloxeter, renowned for its fleet-footed runners, but also a son of Arcadia where he was brought up by the gypsies, famous for their toughness and pugilistic skills. In taking up the challenge Dynamo Dave faces eight trials.

Dynamo Dave’s eight trials or Herculean labours are specified by the Oracle whom he consults in her cave under the Island’s highest peak, Mt David, in Spokane Province in the Handlebar Mountains. You can follow Dynamo Dave’s progress by playing this game.
